My 2014 Subaru Outback developed an issue that made the car "buck/surge". During a mandatory service for a recall, I had Village Subaru of Acton check the bucking issue, along with a few other smaller repairs I would like to have fixed. Admittedly they didn't perform a full service, but with a quick look over they advised the bucking could be a transmission repair and quoted me (along with the other items) 8k. I knew that didn't t sound correct and took it to a garage that didn't do repairs and they `too felt I should have it looked by someone else. Fortunately, I found Professional Automotive in Marlboro online, called and chatted with Paul, who was very professional and actually listened to my concerns, set up a reasonable appointment and offered me a free loaner car. They not only confirmed it wasn't the transmission, but that a few of the other items the Subaru service dept told I would probably need was not correct either. And they did find something that needed to done as well. All said in done, they had the car up and smoothly running the day after I dropped it off and it feels better than ever. Oh and it cost $1650.00 for all the work I had done (a far cry from the quoted 8k which I never would have paid). I HIGHLY recommend Professional Automotive and would use them again if and when I need my car repaired. I'm spreading the word...and It's worth the drive from Concord!!
